DBA Blue Devils is the competitive club basketball program of Dockery Basketball Academy, created for players who are ready to challenge themselves, compete at a higher level, and continue developing their game.
With teams across multiple age groups and competition levels, we provide athletes with the coaching, training, competition, and environment they need to grow as players and teammates.

DBA Blue Devils was built around a simple philosophy: competitive basketball should be an extension of player development.
Our athletes don't just show up for practices and tournaments. They become part of the Dockery Basketball Academy development system, where individual skill development, basketball IQ, team concepts, competition, and accountability all work together.
We want our teams to compete and win, but development always remains at the center of the program. Our goal is to help each athlete become a more skilled, confident, coachable, and complete basketball player.

Every player's basketball journey is different. That's why DBA Blue Devils fields teams across multiple age groups and competition levels, allowing us to place athletes in environments where they can be challenged while continuing to develop.
Our coaches evaluate players based on skill, experience, basketball IQ, competitiveness, and developmental needs—not simply age or grade.
As players progress, they have opportunities to move into increasingly competitive environments within the Blue Devils program.

Player development is at the foundation of everything we do at Dockery Basketball Academy.
Blue Devils athletes are coached within the same development philosophy that drives DBA Training—building strong fundamentals while teaching players how to apply those skills in competitive situations.
Our approach focuses on areas including shooting, ball handling, finishing, footwork, decision-making, basketball IQ, defensive fundamentals, movement without the ball, and game awareness.
Team practices then give athletes the opportunity to take those individual skills and learn how to use them within a team.
Players aren't simply preparing for the next tournament. They're preparing for the next level.
COMPETE WITH PURPOSE.
Competition is an important part of development.
DBA Blue Devils teams compete in schedules designed around the age, ability, and developmental needs of each team. Depending on the team, schedules may include local competition, regional tournaments, travel events, and higher-level exposure opportunities.
But we don't believe in playing tournaments simply to fill a schedule.
Competition gives our coaches an opportunity to evaluate how players respond when the game speeds up, when they're under pressure, when they're challenged physically, and when they're asked to make decisions in real time.
Every game becomes another opportunity to learn, compete, adjust, and improve.
